Board of Directors

Dr. Tomek is an Emergency Medicine Physician in Lincoln, Nebraska, and is co-founder of Nebraska Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Tomek has directed and participated in numerous medical mission trips to Central America and South Sudan.


Dr. Dumba is a Family Physician with Methodist Physicians Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was born in Kajo Keji County, South Sudan, and still has many relatives in the area.  Dr. Dumba was one of the first Sudanese refugees to be resettled in the United States in the early 1990’s.  Dr. Dumba has been with The Healing Kadi Foundation since the mission effort was first conceived in 2007.


Ms. Rodriguez is a certified public accountant (CPA) and Director of Finance at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska.  Anita is a veteran of many mission trips around the world.

 


Kim Nitchals, Secretary

Ms. Nitchals is a busy mother of two children, a leader in a local Bible Study Fellowship class, and is involved in the daily operation of The Healing Kadi Foundation.


Dr. Steier is a Family Physician with Methodist Physicians Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska, and a veteran of three mission trips to Kajo Keji, South Sudan with The Healing Kadi Foundation.


Ms. Anderson works for Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.  She has traveled to South Sudan three times with The Healing Kadi Foundation mission teams.  She has a passion for helping the people of South Sudan.  Amy is a gifted photographer and helps Healing Kadi share the stories of the people of South Sudan through pictures and artwork.


Dr. Duku is from Kajo Keji, South Sudan and immigrated to the United States as a refugee at the age of 16. Pendo, graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. Pendo also hold Masters and Doctorate degrees in civil engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) which were awarded in 2003 and 2007, respectively. Pendo is passionate about volunteering and mentoring the youth to make positive impact in the community. Pendo has been a volunteer civil engineer for The Healing Kadi Foundation since 2014.
